Hey.. People still know I exist? I'm amazed.
I feel like I'm not even part of UTSC anymore, simply because I NEVER EVER see any of you UTSC-ers. (Except for Karen, with whom I bus every now and not then)
For updates on my life: chrissy.foolish-games.net
Cuz you know, I never come here. However, that does NOT mean I don't love you anymore. I promise I shall assign catch-up time... (ketchup time?.....) Ya.
KETCHUP TIME!
Sorry, I'm crazy. Some things never change.

Go home, Croatia, because ENGLAND is going to the quarter-finals!!!! And what an exciting game that was! Michael Owen, even though you didn't score a goal for me, I know you tried very hard already. It's not your fault you're vertically challenged. I <3 you anyway. You made some great efforts in this game which contributed to England's victory. Although all everyone sees is Rooney (aka piggy), you still rock in my eyes.. NOW SCORE ME A GOAL IN THE QUARTER-FINALS OR ELSE!
And what happened to Becks?... He kept getting run over by players. Maybe it was because Lyd wasn't watching the game (at first), so he didn't have to especially impress anybody. Anyway, today's game consisted of: - me repeatedly calling Lyd to update her on the game - half a dozen of near-heart attacks - me screaming at the TV during critical times, followed by my bro's "shut up!" from his room upstairs - a 5-second zoom-in on Becks' butt
Nice game, really. I was gonna say a bunch of other stuff, but my memory is failing me. Bye.

Yesterday was exciting enough alright. So in the afternoon, I went to work, but that's normal as usual. At night, there was a gym night for my fellowship and I invited a bunch of lovely people to come play badminton/volleyball with us. It was definitely great to see everyone again, even though most of them I saw either last week or 2 weeks ago. At first, things didn't work out all that well because the man in charge of the gym place was being difficult. But then super cool Andy went in to talk to the guy and got him to set up volleyball nets for us. I had so much fun playing, just because all of my friends are so radical and crazy. They each bring something unique to the group. Even a normal game of volleyball can turn into endless laughter and amusement. Jackie with his "GO HOLLAND" attitude & orange attire, Albert with his chinaman style and of course Lyd and me with our England pride.
And then of course, we proceeded to go to Destiny with Dor joining us, ordered takeout and bummed around in the parking lot like we always do. ("Always" meaning we did it once before) I enjoyed good conversation with Phil while the girls went in the get the BBT for us. When the girls came back, we all sat in either Lyd or Eva's car and chatted for a while. Afterwards, Dor, Lyd, Phil & I went MHQ in P Mall to Davis' party to wish him a happy birthday. It was fun, for the 5 seconds we stayed. And then we went downstairs, 'lo & behold, there were some people from my church setting up stuff for a toys event, who I was EXTREMELY glad to see. We all chatted with them for a long while and went on our way.
Lyd was supposed to drop me off first, but then when we got to the front of my house, we decided to chat for a while first. (a while meaning... a couple of hours?) We talked about things that made me laugh, cry, think, wonder.. Most importantly, I think I know what to do now. Like I said during the conversation, I'm glad Lyd watches so much TV, because she learns a lot from there and can offer good advice from what she's learned. Either way, the 2 hour talk was exactly what I needed. It helped me sort out my thoughts and feelings and put them into perspective. Things are not as complicated as I had imagined them to be afterall. I just have to dare to move. It reminds me of a quote from Meet Joe Black (sidenote: If you get a picture of Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black, turn it upside down, he'll look like a fob.. trust me.) --- You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived. I have to try in order to eliminate the what-if.
Sometimes you don't really know exactly what your feelings are until somebody else tells you, because when you're in the situation, you're lost within a big pool of feelings. I found that out last night.
Dor, we must.

England 3-0! Bye, Switzerland. I guess we just rock too much. Technically, I haven't watched the game yet, but I cheated and checked the score online at work, when I promised Lyd I wouldn't. Oops. Sorry. But Lyd was still a sweetheart and text'd me about the rerun she caught on TSN. *sigh. She's so good to me. What did I do to deserve this?
Work was okay today. As always, I took things easy, spending most of my time online chatting on MSN & checking England's score. Turo finally came to work today! I like having him around. To top it all off, I got to play with the organ this afternoon. It's seriously too cool for words.
Anyway, I'm rather excited because tomorrow night I get to see my beloved Dor & Lyd. I think tomorrow will be a very interesting day. We'll see what happens. ;) And yes, we will visit Timmy Ho's. :)
A quote: "Posers make me angry." -- Lyd Well said.
P.S.: My dearest Michael Owen, please score a goal for me next game. P.P.S.: Dor, we can do it.

Stupid France and their stupid Cat-In-A-Hat socks. ENGLAND WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN! I'm super mad + sad at the same time. Gerrard made a dumbass move. It could've been 1-1 if it weren't for his stupid idea of giving the ball back to the goalie. And oh ya... Why did they make Owen come off??
Sigh... What a sad day for England fans. Oh well. As long as they beat Croatia + Switzerland, we're fine.
Yes, I still love England. At least I have a preference, not like the non-fans out there who only like the team that wins.
BTW, thanks Lyd for coming to watch the game with me and my bro. I don't think I could've handled the loss on my own.

So I'm finally blogging, just because if I put it off any longer, morebecksplease would likely butcher me. So... Why "passtheowen" you ask? It was a counter attack by Lyd after I made her sign up with the name "morebecksplease". Close your eyes for a moment and imagine us at the dinner table, me saying "Hey! Pass the Owen!" and Lyd saying "Mmmm.... More Becks please!". See, it all makes perfect sense.
So we like England and we like Becks&Owen. That's no crime. Who doesn't? (Don't answer that)
